and i think she reminds me of jang nara and kim sun ah
i don't see song hye kyo in her !

anw...here is the recipe to making a korean drama that sinyee loves

1. THE Man

must be shuai. (look at goong :( )...
if the lead man doesn't have the face, he must have the charisma
e.g. kwon sang woo in stairway to heaven
preferably he is some prince with the looks, the money, the talent and
duh, undying devotion (snort)
girls are suckers for this sort.-_-;

well, i've always believed that such dramas,
or shoujo or fanfics are selling dreams and fantasies to little, innocent girls (like me, heh)
and sometimes ah sohs
cos every girl dreams of being a cinderella
and be rescued by a prince charming on a white stallion
and then live happily ever after!
*swoons*
so, indulge as much as you want, guilt-free!
(since it'll never happen, watch it happen to other pple!)

2. THE lady

personally i don't like demure whiny girls
or some weak girl who cannot stand up for herself
(add in some crippling disease)
EE-YER.
i guess girls like kickass girls!
HAI-YAH! (executes flying kick)
she needs to be some invincible weed that no weed-icide can conquer
(girl from hana yori dango the manga floats in mind)
but in the end she'll still require the help of the lead man in some way or another
doesn't need to be pretty, but can be

3. the side-dishes

guy:
cannot be better looking or more endearing than the lead man
otherwise one will bound to watch until damn gek
cos there's only one way the show will develop
and the guy u like will never get the girl
(e.g. yul has kinda dethroned shin since a large proportion of girls like him better, like den)
it is always better if he is the kind who fades into the background

girl:
it's just a role for a budding actress to fill in before she does bigger and better things
like kim tae hee
basically just there to be hated
recently the trend has been to make bad girls become not that bad in the end
aiyah, but then nobody really cares.

4. condiments

a) gags gags gags !!(my girl!)
rom-coms are my fav!
i have sworn never to watch any weepies anymore after stairway
i need like, a week to get over them T_T

b) memorable item
u need these so that u can sell related merchandise after the show is canned
like the bears in goong and the necklace in stairway blah..

c) memorable item (song and dance)
makes the drama more unforgettable
e.g. three bears song in fullhouse, dang geun song in my girl

4) memorable soundtrack

5) nice clothes
girls can go watch something for the clothes (e.g. devil wears prada)
korean dramas like to deck their leading man in v v v v v bright colours
*-* abit much ah.
and characters in the same scene almost always have complementary clothes
e.g. if the girl is wearing green, then the guy will have a splotch of green somewhere
like green tie?
