i need to rant.
about how inefficient some organizations/institutes can be,
and how blind they are.
i just feel very sorry for those pple whom i thought really deserve sth,
but cannot get it.
life can be so so unfair, and that's what anna has been telling me.

it's not really about me,
not so much.
i know i screwed up my interview, so i can only blame myself.
(i am quite unhappy tht most pple got in as a second choice though,
i mean, if everyone is about on par, why not accept those who are actually INTERESTED?)

anyway,
i'm just feeling quite sad for some of my friends.
i feel rather helpless, that there's only so much we can do for each other,
that our future lies in the hands of uncles and aunties
who might look nice but mark you down badly,
who might look fierce to scare you intentionally,
who think tt they know all about you in that 20 minutes.
organizations/institutes that mistakenly, imo, believe that grades are not so important anymore, and tt how you present yourself is what counts.
but how often do you see doctors/lawyers/dentists trying to impress their clients/patients?
i feel that even lawyers also dont necessarily need to speak well,
cos from what i've seen, it's more of the preparation work done before,
rather than speaking eloquently to the judge/client to try to impress them.
much less doctors/dentists!
so in the end it all boils down to what, nothing!
we can all study, can't we.
handling stress and heavy workload, been there done that.
so shouldn't it be abt our passion.
i know pple can fake passion damn well
that's how life can suck i guess.
some evil twit can swoon the interviewers in that short span of time,
but US who actually know the person for who he/she is can't do nothing to provide the interviewers with a second opinion.
ohwellzz i suppose thts what it'll be like in the working world.
it's all abt presentation huh.who gives a shit abt your brain, your ability..
grades arent impt anymore,genuine passion cant be discerned from faked ones.
you want someone who can crap well but not someone who can work well.

haha i feel so anti-social.

i want to be somewhere where everyone gets what he or she deserves to get.
no limited supply, no opp cost.
you deserve it, you get it.
you reap what you sow, not what you tell people you can sow.
then again, doesn't everyone? oh no, except those who can xian1 damn well.
good for you if you can la, but i don't really like you very much. unless i like you.

sigh i'll just cross my fingers and hope that things will work out eventually for everyone!
the thought of a friend being miserable for 4 years is T_T.
